Nothing could ever satisfy that itch, an insatiable feeling. Friends came and went for him, although one person who seemed to always be there when he needed it was the new girl in town. Her father was sick, and she seemed to keep to herself for the most part. But she was cool, and she played softball. He would support her softball games, and she’d support his football matches. They weren’t exactly close friends, but they spoke every now and then. But Riley wanted to experience things that were new, that were thrilling. Living through the same routine everyday was tiring, and Riley was getting sick of it. So when he received an invitation to go skydiving, he felt like he *had* to go. The timing was just perfect, and he knew this would be a once in a lifetime experience. Riley wasn’t able to sleep that night, far too excited for what tomorrow would bring. He woke up early that morning, getting ready quickly before heading out to the sky diving place. Once he arrived he didn’t feel the last minute nervousness a lot of people would have. He knew what he wanted and he was beyond excited to experience it. He smiled as he got fitted in his parachute and hopped aboard the plane. Everything was leading up to this. He was so high up, and the feeling was something new and totally unfamiliar. He was the first to jump off the plane, but he was the only one to never hit the ground.
